Difference between members and contributors

Hello,

we just wanted to make things clear :)

If you are a member, you are not allowed to upload things in the gallery. You are then a 'Supporter' of this group.

If you want to contribute, you can apply to be a contributor. Contributors get their own folder and can upload to their heart's content.

You can apply to be a contribute through several ways, one is sending a note and telling us what your original stories are or what you illustrate.

Both authors and illustrators are welcome, both hobby or proffessional/aspiring. However, in all cases: Fanart and Fanfiction are not allowed

We don't hate fanart or fanfiction, but there are more suitable clubs for that. We prefer original work in this club; things people have never seen before!

Edit: I changed some settings to prevent members from uploading; I hope it works! If it doesn't, please let me know. In the mean time, Contributors can upload in Featured if neccessairy; I will then move it to the right folder by hand :)

I write novels and wish to get them out there where the people are. They are usually sci-fy with some religion in them. However the one I would like to start with is only 297 pages long and about a psycho who goes postal in a mental hospital under attack.

I think I have shown the contrast between mental illness and psychotic killers and have a lot of fun to share along the way.

I also have other novels I might want to share, but need to check with those publishers first.

One is and two of the others are on Amazon but I can put them where I want. The other one is so that the publisher has the all the rights and wants to only place it where they want to have it themselves. I can only publish parts of it, you know to advertise it.

Thanks for the interest. You can see the three I have not put on dA by going to Amazon and doing a search for either UC Poika or The Way You Take It for the other.

I also have a website where you can see all four covers and my prices for each should you order from me. Really it's just a hobby for now but who knows? [link]

Wow, you have them on Amazon? That's so awesome. :aww: I think it's cool you already have publishers and such interested. I'm still struggling to find a literary agent...but it's hard, especially in today's economy and e-books and such. More and more publishers and agents are saying no. Best of luck, and you are more than welcome to check out my writings in my gallery. :thanks:

Hey everyone! :aww: Okay, I don't really have anything that important to announce...just a concern. I admit that it's my fault that I haven't kept up with the post and messages here, but I did notice that a couple of people have left this club, and it surprised as well as concerned me. What happened? Did I or someone else do something wrong? Have we mistakenly ignored or not given enough information? If we can find the root of the "problem" we might be having, perhaps we can fix it to prevent more people from feeling frustrated and leave. Any thoughts?
